  1.  @Mruninteresting no they weren’t. Yes Hebrews like Canaanites were a Semitic group, but Hebrews or Israelites were not Canaanites. They invaded and carved their small kingdom but they were not originally Canaanites. Hebrews were nomads from Ur in Mesopotamia
