  1. What’s the point in being in Congress of you won’t? See these progressives shouldn’t be concerned about their careers, to make enemies in the party. You weren’t elected to have a career, you were elected to lead and legislate to your constituency needs. Expose the opposition and push the movement to remove them. Be a politician, fight for your electorate. You shouldn’t be getting ideas about being in that seat forever, build the movement that eventually wouldn’t need one person to be the only progressive able to represent a district.
