@matthewrutters6842 typical righty. The right wing has always been anti-liberal and trying to undo the American Revolution. Conservatism’s history in this Republic was first anti-republicanism and pro-monarchy. Then a counterrevolutionary Federalist and their constitutional national system attempt to quell the fervors of radical liberalism and democratic republicanism. Which is why Thomas Paine considered the Revolution undermined and failed. Now conservatives apparently take lightly the extrajudicial killing of citizens. They either look for character assassination of the victim to justify and support the State and police instead of fighting against this State sponsored murder of citizens. I don’t care if they come out swinging, the police don’t have the authority to kill citizens. They are a State institution, not a social organization beholden to the communities. Yes the more apparent murders of black citizens is more covered by MSM. And statistically black citizens are killed at a higher proportion than white citizens. Not to mention the very public areas of urban locations. I don’t even know how to start on the probable crimes committed by police in rural and more solitary areas of the country. But no citizens should be murdered. The reason for BLM being so prevalent is because black organization has a history of fighting police brutality and the State. So they have the experience. But if all citizens come together to fight this State sponsored murder of citizens then we shall fight for all rights. Just like the Black Panthers, Young Lords, and Young Patriots got together to fight off police brutality in Chicago. A Rainbow Coalition of real communities.
