Terrorism gets a bad connotation, and it was used as propaganda against the leftist anarchist movements of the 19th century. Granted that was the “propaganda of the deed” period of anarchism that proved to be a failure in winning over the public through strategic political assassinations. Anarchists since abandoned it for civil resistance of philosophical anarchist David Henry Thoreau. Though modern Antifa believe in aggressive pushback against far right groups.
