  1. Matt Orfalea the social liberalism is just paid lip service and a public relations ploy when it comes to capitalist elites. Not to say the individual person doesn’t believe in more social liberalism, but it is setback by the priority of their bottom line and making profits. Capitalist society is quite hedonistic and corporations and businesses target groups and advertise their support of social issues and environmental issues so that they have good public relations and a stable base of consumers and clientele. Their left leaning social commercialization doesn’t amount to much when their foremost concern is their business success. Socioeconomics is a serious issue for the welfare of people, and a corporation giving to charity isn’t helping inequalities and so it goes.
