@ninjacrumbs statues aren’t meant to teach history. Most of them were put up during the Civil Rights era to intimidate black folks to “stay in your place.” We have the internet that does much better at teaching history than any old statue. Heck I saw the other day historians mocking the statues because many are either in the wrong location or the plaques have misinformation
