  2. Solexx X seizing the means of production is democratizing the workplace. I’m a Socialist but not a State Socialist. State Capitalism is trash. State Socialism ala Marxist-Leninism is not popular, for good reason. But left wing Socialism has always existed and just cause they’ve been obscured does not mean they are gone. Libertarian Socialism (Anarchism), Democratic Socialism (Evolutionary Marxism), Liberal Socialism are all still prominent.

  4. DJValentino864 I don’t think you know what Socialism is. News flash it’s a socioeconomic ideal not a government type. Socialism advocates classless societies and some form of socializing the factors of production. This can be public ownership, direct worker’s control and self-management etc... Actual Democratic Socialism is post-Capitalist and Marxist ideas implemented through democratic institutions instead of revolutionary methods. They would seek to end Capitalism. George Orwell was a famous Democratic Socialist. Socialism is not government subsidies and welfare. It is a broad ideology that. And there are socialists that are anti-capitalist but pro-markets. That is to say in favor of socialist market-oriented economies instead of capitalist ones.
