  1. Raise, feed and slaughter a cow just for the skin. Then use a lot of chemicals and cheap labour to make leather. You have no idea. This is nothing compared to the leather "production". It is a very dirty business with animal cruelty, harmful chemicals, rainforests burned for animal feed and labourers exposed to harmful chemicals.

  3. It looks like a lot of processing, but compared to raising, feeding and killing a cow, this is nothing. They don't skin the cows that are slaughtered for meat. The animals are just skinned for the leather and the test goes to waste. It involves so may chemicals to process the animal skins into leather. It's a dirty business and really bad for the environment. 😱 And for those who say the mangoes look good: watch the video again and it explains that they are cut for quality control.
