@Johanneslol11 The Netherlands economy is not comparable to Korea's, in any way. Korea is a very consumerist country and 99% of consumers (that's what the OP meant) live beyond their means, using unlimited credit cards and going into debt for life. I don't know what will happen to that economy, it's a crazy bubble.

@ In Korea, the law allows banks to issue unlimited credit cards even with a very low bank account. When they can no longer pay the debt installments, they ask for another unlimited card with which they pay the previous debt and continue to buy everything and more. This has been a policy of GDP growth with a consistent and constant increase in purchases, unloading all the debt on families. You should not consider Korea as a Western Country, the protection of the population is at the levels of the European 1500s.
