  20. I'm really saddened about BSH. I'm reading general concerns about the artists and the legal situation of the two companies, and about MHJ' future, but no one is taking into account the human relationship of false friendship between those two. I'm sure she called him oppa. BSH had placed absolute trust in MHJ, which is his way of establishing human relationships with collaborators. He made her an incredible career in Hybe. He founded Ador practically to make her happy, giving her a CEO job out of nowhere with a certainly generous salary. He allowed her to steal staff and trainees from Source, putting Source in trouble and possibly causing the disband of GFriend. It is clearly a preferential treatment that denotes a personal relationship of affection and friendship far beyond business. MHJ has become very rich thanks to NJ, and all this is not only due to her hard work. BSH literally gave her 18% of the stock, I mean, wtf… But she was fake from day one, she built a career off shamelessly exploiting BSH, she went and spoke badly about him to everyone, even Scooter Braun, she actively harmed Hybe and artists of Hybe, she organized the takeover of Ador, literally stabbed him in the middle of the back. I bet she proposed to V to leave BTS and go under Ador. Now she has even disclosed a private conversation between them, which seems like a not-so-veiled threat. All this from a woman, who he probably believed thought of him as a brother. What BSH has lost in this story can only be understood by those who have been betrayed by someone they thought was a friend.

  26. 1. There is no conflict on the management of the NJ, the management of the artist is up to the label and everything related to the NJ, schedules, branding contracts, promotions, was all decided by MHJ, contrary to what she would like us to believe. MHJ said that Hybe didn't want to do NJ's promotion, but she lied, because the promotion was handled by her, not Hybe. In particular, the debut of the NJ was not delayed, it arrived when the production was ready, it could not have arrived earlier. Ador was founded on November 12, 2021, NJ debuted on July 22, 2022 (with an album and an MV!), after just nine months. What MHJ complains about is that BSH didn't force sister label Source Music to delay LSF's debut, after literally stealing SM's trainees to form her group without spending a penny. Money that SM will never see again. 2. MHJ invented the mistreatment. Both of these two lies from MHJ are intended to justify the takeover attempt at Ador, which she had actually been planning long before Ador was founded. 3. The collapse of Ador's stock was not an alternative to getting more independence from Hybe, because Ador is already independent and, contrary to what she says, she is the one who decides everything regarding the girls. The collapse of the shares had been planned for years with the aim of taking over the majority of the shares and becoming the majority shareholder of Ador, after which she would break the contract of subservience to Hybe and become the owner of a record label, spending a negligible amount. 4. Everything that is happening is because MHJ does NOT want to resign. Not only does she not want to resign, but she wants to become chairman of Ador. Furthermore, it should be clear by now that she is totally uninterested in the careers and even the psychological and physical health of the girls, who still have to produce a lot of money before she will let them go. 5. When MHJ said she hates the entertainment industry, she was lying. She wants to own a record label and has spent her entire career in the entertainment industry, it's clear that she doesn't hate it at all. Otherwise she would have started her graphic design career in publishing, not in discography. 6. MHJ went to court to avoid being fired by Hybe. It's not true that she wants to leave. She just wants to have all the opportunities in the world.

  117.  @hara2009  It's an interesting speech but I think you made a method error. Korean pop is not superior to western pop, they are just different. Putting rap into a pop song doesn't mean its quality is superior because it merged two genres, it's just a different way of making pop music. Those who say that the choreography can be stellar but it's not part of a song are right: if I play a CD I don't see the choreography. Much of western pop is authorial and this gives the music a depth that no industrial music can ever have; and yet western pop also has a very good industry that produces songs that you can simply listen to because they are enjoyable. This is not a deminutio, otherwise we would have to say that all pop is worthless compared to classical music. They are just different things. There is no superior musical value in kpop just because there are the choreography, the costumes and the concepts. BSH was the first producer to have idols write songs, he was also a visionary in this because he laid the foundations for their expansion in the West. Albums like JITB and Indigo are the fruit of that choice made ten years ago: it's creativity that makes good music, like that of Billie Eilish, whose lyrics maybe you don't listen to. You say that there was no reason to expand into the West, but this is a point of view that I would call embarrassing: if you make a great product, why shouldn't you expand? Making niche or ethnic music doesn't in itself give a stamp of quality. Dynamite has opened the door to the Western market for all kpop; of course if you assume that it is not necessary to expand... Dynamite could not be given to artists less experienced than BTS, because the song alone is not enough, it also take the charisma, the grit, the talent that TXT had not still. Is it a roundelay? Yes, and for this very reason BSH is a genius, because he knew how to use a roundelay as a global lever. Really, to say that SM doesn't need Hybe because it doesn't need to expand to the West, is a conservative and unrealistic way of looking at music: there is a time for everything and this is the time for kpop to expand. I believe that there is not a single idol who prefers to keep the purity of kpop and not sell in the global market.

  198.  @Mimikoo  For correctness, I report the words spoken by Jin in the official translation that you can find in the Weverse subtitles: << There is something that I can't miss out on talking about. The Company thought that it will be better not to talk about it. I think there is no relevance anymore. Our Voldemort. It's about army [military service]. We weren't even allowed to mention army. We can't say that we are going... After Grammys we were getting ready for the army... I told the Company that I will go in May or June. The Company said ok... There was the EXPO event [Busan]. Our opinion were split... "I want to go in autumn", I was telling the members that. They were like, this can really be our last performance... There were be many talks about it. Let's announce it before the performance. We also made few videos of it... Our final stance about it though was that we didn't want to have tearful appearance... that's why we ended up announcing it later... [In the summer] we received many criticism... When I see comments about us, "He's still not going? Just go". It hurt my heart... We asked the Company about telling this faster... "You said that you don't want the performance to end up in tears". Right. We will endure a bit more then... When we rested for three months [on summer] I thought we did it all. Can't we explain it now? Yes, that's right. And then, "Jin you can be confident and whatever the Company says you can confidently say that you are going. Can you do that?". Can't you see that I am also working as a non-regular employee? And the seven of us are one. I need to sign the contract again with the Company, what can I do if I get on the wrong side with the Company? I need to talk in the good direction with the Company. If I suddenly say I am going out of the blue, the Company will be like "You said you will not do it this way". When I try to sign the contract again, the Company might say "You said you won't do that". What can I do then?... I have to work harder for the rest of my life. And this Voldemort-like word that was hard to say, after saying it, I feel so relieved... Army is like Voldemort, I wasn't even able to mention the word. >>

  558.  @ERICASHANNON  I'm really saddened about BSH.

  836. 1. Anton Yelchin (1989-2016, age 27) in "Star Trek Beyond". He was crushed to death by his own car, a Chrysler Grand Cherokee, which had started on a slope. It seems that the gear lever in that model of car was defective, in fact Yelchin's family sued the Chrysler and the case was settled out of court. P.S.: Don't American cars have a handbrake? 2. Brandon Lee (1965-93, age 28) in "The Crow". Shot in the stomach with a Smith & Wesson Model 629 revolver, .44 Remington Magnum, fired from a distance of about 13 feet. The gun had been loaded with blanks to simulate a gunshot on the set, but the special effects crew had failed to realize there was a live round in the barrel. Lee underwent emergency surgery for six hours, but died shortly thereafter. The family sued Dimension Films, but they settled out of court. The judge dismissed the case, quashing the manslaughter charges against seven people. 3. Adrienne Shelly (1966-2006, age 40) in "Waitress". Shelly surprised a 19-year-old thief in her home, an illegal Ecuadorian immigrant who, for fear of being reported, killed her by hanging her from the shower rod. He was sentenced to 25 years in prison without the possibility of parole. 4. Spencer Tracy (1900-67, age 67) in "Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?". Died of a heart attack. Anyway... the film is a milestone in breaking down racial barriers, since it stages a wedding between a black man and a white woman. Curiously, no one ever notices the fact that the man is 37 years old and the woman is 23 years old, which today would be considered very politically incorrect. 5. Paul Walker (1973-2013, age 40) in "Furious 7". Car crash caused by the excessive speed and the worn tires, which caused it to skid on a curve, crashing into a concrete base and catching fire. The car was a Porsche Carrera GT driven by his friend Roger Rodas (1975-2013, 38 years old). Both bodies were completely charred and were identified through DNA analysis. Both families sued the Porsche; Rodas' family lost the case while Walker's family settled out of court. 6. Peter Finch (1916-77, age 60) in "Network." Died of a heart attack. 7. Chadwick Boseman (1976-2020, age 43) in "Avengers: Endgame." Died of colon cancer for which he had been undergoing treatment for four years, with multiple surgeries and chemotherapy, during which he had continued to work without his health being known on the set. 8. Dominique Dunne (1959-82, almost 23) in "Poltergeist." Strangled by her former partner John Thomas Sweeney. Their relationship had lasted a few months. After Dunne left him, Sweeney showed up at her house one evening to clarify. The two went out into the driveway, while a Dunne's colleague, with whom she was rehearsing some scenes for the series "V", remained in the house. The colleague heard screams and the sounds of a struggle, so he called the police, who said it was outside their jurisdiction. He then called a friend and told him that, if he was found dead, Sweeney would be his killer. Finally he went to see what was happening. Sweeney was kneeling over unconscious Dunne and told him to call the police. Dunne was declared brain dead. After three days, her parents gave their consent for the removal of her organs (kidneys and heart). The killer was sentenced to six years for voluntary manslaughter (crime of passion) and served only two and a half. 9. James Dean (1931-55, age 24) in "Rebel Without a Cause". Car crash with a Porsche 550 Spyder, driven by him. Dean was approaching an intersection at high speed in a suburban area, when he suddenly found himself facing another car that was turning, coming from the opposite direction. Dean braked and caramboled, crashing into the sidewalk. He died almost immediately. He was found responsible for the accident. 10. Heath Ledger (1979-2008, age 28) in "The Dark Knight". Overdose of six different drugs in conjunction with the onset of pneumonia. He was found dying in his apartment and died shortly thereafter. Despite several trials, it was not possible to trace the doctor who had prescribed the fatal cocktail. 11. Oliver Reed (1938-99, age 61) in "Gladiator". Cardiac arrest during a drinking contest, died in ambulance. Reed was an alcoholic and had promised not to drink during the filming of the movie, but he still drank on weekends. That Sunday afternoon he had gone to an Irish pub with friends.

  900. 1. Anton Yelchin (1989-2016, 27 anni) in "Star Trek Beyond". 2. Brandon Lee (1965-93, 28 anni) in "Il corvo - The Crow". 3. Adrienne Shelly (1966-2006, 40 anni) in "Waitress - Ricette d'amore". 4. Spencer Tracy (1900-67, 67 anni) in "Indovina chi viene a cena?". 5. Paul Walker (1973-2013, 40 anni) in "Fast & Furious 7". 6. Peter Finch (1916-77, 60 anni) in "Quinto potere". Morto di infarto. 7. Chadwick Boseman (1976-2020, 43 anni) in "Avengers: Endgame". 8. Dominique Dunne (1959-82, quasi 23 anni) in "Poltergeist - Demoniache presenze". Infine andò a vedere cosa stava succedendo. 9. James Dean (1931-55, 24 anni) in "Gioventù bruciata". 10. Heath Ledger (1979-2008, 28 anni) in "Il cavaliere oscuro". 11. Oliver Reed (1938-99, 61 anni) in "Il gladiatore".
