@GoAskAlice23 if it calls to you there is a channel called "Section 8 Consulting". The Host gentleman, Jay, is Phd-level on how to get vouchers excetera excetera. If it calls to you.🌹

⚘️One channel is called "Section 8 Consulting". Yes he does consulting, but he also has 700 - 800 videos that has free information. They just did a video where HUD has published what the time approximate time period is on the Waitlist for a HUD vouncher in each state is. 🌺 "Clever Poverty" is another YouTube channel that has a lot of info on affordable housing. She got her Section 8 voucher in a very wealthy county in California by going to another county in California where the waitlist was a lot faster - She got her voucher– and you have to live there 12 months with the voucher. And then she did what they call "ported" her voucher back to the place she wanted to live. HUD is a Federal program and you can APPLY from anywhere.🌼 A person can live in a van, or live in a van and also have an affordable housing apartment or just do affordable housing. Another channel on info on affordable housing is "Monique Burns".🌺 👍 Absolutely absolutely this country can do much better and how seniors are treated and what is available – and yes other countries do much better. Everyone does their own research and makes their own decisions – The above info is for pointers where one can find info.👍

☘️The Channels with information about affordable housing and HUD vouchers Etc are, "Section 8 Consulting" and yes he does Consulting and he also has 700 - 800 videos on free info. "Clever Proverty" YouTube channel, and "Monique Burns" YouTube channel. YouTube channel quote "Mammacutie Finance" FYI if it calls to you. If one types in the YouTube search engine - other channels will come up on how to navigate the process to get a Section 8 Waitlist voucher, affordable housing info, tax credit properties info, HUD properties, Etc. Yes may all seniors find the help that they need.🍀

@OldskolFan Yes. Legally they have to offer shelter or they cannot give them a ticket. This happened in Healdsburg California. Healdsburg did not have any type of shelter. So they could not give out tickets. They recently opened the L&M Motel. There is a waitlist for that. It is a hard situation. In Tennessee - They made it a felony law - not sure what county or city or the whole state or what. In some comments I've posted channels which offer phd-level info on navigating the affordable housing industry if that calls to you. Blessings.🌹

@belle6219 Thank you. It is very very true that it is can be very very challenging for seniors with the limited income. But thank you very much for what you are you are saying almost wonder if there is kind of a psyop in this whole subject. Already wrote a comment that I have already given information I work in the portable Housing Industry and it's exactly what you are saying that there is help out there it's a matter of navigating it because it's like everything else you have to have knowledge of the system it's like living in a van. There are a lot of things to know you just don't go in the desert and park your vehicle what are you going to do about my steno how to handle that it's the same with affordable-housing I've given the person who filmed this information and made many many comments and they are ignored or delete it. So all I can say is it makes one Wonder. Yes it is very difficult is like anything else you have to understand and do research it is like going to college you have to understand it and do research not saying it is not challenging. But thank you for your comments and being brave enough to say them. Because it doesn't seem popular to present options.⚘️ And the story that she was told and maybe she was told by a person in the Housing Authority that she could get sued for making more money. I also worked in court. I don't think there's a case on the books where someone a senior got sued because they were making less money. I'm not saying that the person did not tell her that. But hopefully people can realize that there are options. 🌿

@snowy river⚘️The thing is you don't have the correct information, respectively. There actually are a lot of options and systems. And this channel has been given those options - by many comments in chat – and by personal emails - and they have been ignored. The fact that someone lives in a van. They are considered homeless and she can get a voucher. There is a Channel with a phd-level on how to navigate the system. It is like anything else one has to know how to navigate it. This person on this channel has been given that information and they ignored it. This country DOES have options – but maybe in the van Community it produces more views to paint a picture of a helpless situation or hopeless situation. I'm a senior. I also work in the affordable Housing Industry, and I have lived in a Van - and I know very well that there are options. They have been given the information - they have ignored it.🏵🌻🌼

💐Regarding negative comments about a Section 8 voucher: A Section 8 voucher is like a COUPON. It is a piece of paper that can reduce one's rent. 🪷 Problems appear to arise WHERE the neighborhood that the buildings is, the property management company and the owners and managers. It is not the voucher itself.🌹

@gloriouslifeonwheels3621 🌿🌹Yep. A section 8 voucher takes years!!!! ☘️ So I just got to the top of a Wait List for what is called a Project Based Voucher. They call it a PBV. A project based voucher is just like it sounds. The voucher is attached to the building only. ☘️ You go to new construction. You go to the property management companies in your City or call the City itself - and go to new construction. 🌻 🌿 I've done it twice. Both times were under a year. But yes absolutely correct - a Section 8 voucher can take forever!!!!💐💐

@dianes5762 The facts are - and anyone can check it out. HUD project based buildings are all over the United States and in very prestigious, pretty towns, counties and cities. That is a fact. 🏵 Case in Point. Marin County one of the wealthiest in California - north of San Francisco - just opened The Wait list for 2 weeks for a project based Beautiful building in a beautiful town called Novato CA. Google it. Right now for 2 weeks 🌻 There is a lot - a lot of challenges out there. AND there also is a lot of answers. There is an agenda to bring seniors down psychologically. 🪷A person has to do research and talk to other people in the business. Have been in the affordable housing business. 🌸 FACT There are a lot of HUD project based buildings including ones in very nice, beautiful and towns.☘️

@donnazukowski 🪻That is terrible that you had to go through that. Yes, have lived in a cargo van. and there are good and bad about both.. There are reasons that people are quitting van life. Personally I would live in a van again. 🌸Like anything else. - have had the opportunity to be in management with companies that have very good ethics. They took care of the properties, and the managers took care of their people. 🌹My mother was in one in San Francisco and it was the best 15 yearsf of her life. She was not on Section 8. It was a Tax Credit property but there were people there who had Section 8. 💐 So it is not the Section 8 voucher itself. It is the community where the building is and the property management companies and owners that are involved. 🌺Have also seen corruption in affordable housing property management companies. It is like everything else. There are extremely bad companies and there are extremely good companies. The first Prop.mgt. company I worked with got gold nugget awards. The communities were nurturing, safe, and upstanding.🪷

@donnazukowski My comment was deleted. It explained that it is not necessarily the Section 8 voucher - but where the property is, the neighborhood, the owners and the managers.👍

@lauravictorious4670 wWhen a person lives in a van they are considered homeless. There are plenty of programs that give out vouchers for people in that condition. I have put in comments information on how to get that and people don't want to listen. People would rather complain and cry. And feel sorry for themselves. I'm just saying what I have observed and I am a senior citizen and I also have worked in the affordable housing industry. In this situation there is one channel - he is phd-level and in her situation she could get a voucher for housing. The person who filmed - Glorious life on Wheels - whom I respect I have given her the information by email and I have given her this gentleman's Channel. He is phd-level. But maybe it is more views to complain about a situation. I am not saying that everything that is said - it is absolutely right. But there are options. And what I see is when you give the people the information they are ignoring it.⚘️🌷⚘️
