I work in the affordable housing industry.The county Has resources to agencies, churches and for example CAL AIM that will help pay for security deposit - And in some instances rental assistance. 🪻There are many many countries that - Shall we say - a $1,000.00 social security pension check will go a long , long way.🌿

@goyam2981 Yes. Working in affordable housing right now - and it is very, very difficult out there. People of all ages come to the Office looking for housing and They really really need housing. 🌸Before having worked primarily for seniors , it is so good to showcase what is going on out there. 🌿Then the second part of the conversation can be how we get through this and what solutions have been found to navigate this situation. Because going forward - it will be our attitude that will help transform it.🌹

💐California law just changed and legally they can only charge first months rent and a deposit. 🪷 Some counties have programs with resources to churches and a lot of nonprofits , including CAL AIM which helps with deposits and sometimes rental assistance.🌿

🌿2.67% give or take does not cover the cost of living we have just had this last year. 🪷 Yes we all need to budget - and look at creative solutions. 💐 No one is going to come save us. 🌿 Working in the affordable housing industry , some counties do have resources To help pay for security deposits and rental assistance. 🪻 From researching other countries , Asia has many countries that are affordable , including South America and some countries in Europe. 🎉 $1,000.00 social security letter will get someone in a country as a pension visa.🎉

☘️ It's interesting to go to the government Social security page.They actually had a very detailed synopsis of economics in older age starting from the Middle Ages. 🌱 One thing that was noted 🪷towards the end is the change in society, i.e, The change of the family system, The industrial revolution, living longer. An interesting read.🌹

@darcybauer8638 It doesn't seem to register what I was talking about. Perhaps I was not clear. Was talking about Social Security. Seven years in the business. 😇Not sure of your point. You are talking about a HUD building. That is one form of affordable housing. Vouchers act the same way.👍
