@redrick8900 that is not correct
1
sad
1
@brothermine2292 a problem with that model is that you are forced to rank all candidates
1
@brothermine2292 ok. but in the first variant, does a candidate benefit if someone were to rank them worst instead of not vote at all? i don't have much faith the second variant in which candidates do the rankings because it's less flexible and making information about corruption publicly visible does not see to do much, although it would be nice if they themselves were forced to rank candidates publicly, regardless

@alabamaman9476 explain
1
@alabamaman9476 well of course it doesn't seem like it's going to happen. that should be obvious
1
@alabamaman9476 based on what do you think they had no credible chance? but regardless, it's completely beside the point. it's like comparing the severity of theft, with that of attempted murder based on the murder only being "only" attempted. based on what do you think nobody cares? and why is that a good metric to base your values on?
1
@alabamaman9476 how Jan.6th was not an attempt to overthrow the government? stop trying to change the topic. we were not discussing Antifa rioters. this is a whataboutism. two wrongs don't make a right. show me the poll that shows 100% don't care. also, you did not answer my question about whether basing your values around polling is a good metric. can you think for yourself?
1
@alabamaman9476 you still have not explained how Jan.6th is not an attempt to overthrow the government. does the polling around voter intentions say that exactly 100% don't care about Jan.6th? i'm at least 1 data point. nobody cares is not a good argument. clearly that's not even the case. you still have not answered how polling is a good metric to base our values on. "Take a breathe dude" it seems that you have run out of arguments
1
@alabamaman9476 there were not literally 0 pipe bombs. also, an insurrection does not require guns. if you say that people still care about Jan.6th, then you can't also say that nobody cares. you still have not answered how polling is a good metric to base our values on.
1
@alabamaman1684 people on Jan.6th were also found carrying zip ties. ok then you admit that you don't need a gun for an insurrection. this is my point. i can also argue that they wouldn't want to bring a gun, so that they could justify to themselves that they are not breaking the law. but this would also be a tangent. you first said "Only the desperate left wing cult care" and then "Nobody cares". these statements contradicts. if no group in politics can claim any moral high ground, then why did you bring up the left wing and progressives specifically? i did not ask you whether morality is subjective. i'm asking you whether polling is a good metric to base our values on
1
@alabamaman1684 you can't say that only left wing care, and then say that you are repeating yourself, when you say that nobody cares. these are not the same statements. i did say that my argument for leaving their gun at home would be a tangent. "'support J6 protest' false flag"? yes this is obviously a progressive channel. what's your point? i'm still asking you whether polling is a good metric to base our values on
1
@alabamaman1684 you said "Nobody cares". if you meant that only progressives care, then you misspoke. exactly. so don't use public sentiment as a metric for what does and does not "matter", as you did earlier. since when was this debate about trying to predict the outcome?
1
@markbrower1146 oh right. now it makes sense. thanks!
1
both suck though
1
@Junebug89 you can also use crypto to buy things, without speculating on it
1
@Junebug89 there is no single entity that controls the supply of crypto. the supply is increased with mining, which is a group activity. there are some crypto that are pre-mined but those are usually not looked upon favorably
1
@jayrose8638 you're just showing your ignorance
