the guy's scenarios were over the top until he got to just having your assets frozen, but Sam is not giving him fair considerations. having your assets frozen at any time is harder to do with crypto. like the Silk road guy, they had to get to him and take away his digital wallet, to freeze his assets. this is much easier with traditional assets where they can just contact your bank. yes it's always unlikely these scenarios happen (as with all disasters), but you can't deny that it is another tool that is potentially useful in a pinch

@Junebug89 there is no single entity that controls the supply of crypto. the supply is increased with mining, which is a group activity. there are some crypto that are pre-mined but those are usually not looked upon favorably
