24k for log cabin windows?

@strangelove24 doesn't that make the question, whether you can decide to change your personality? this video seems to suggest that you can, if you keep doing it long enough
6
@rajendrarajasingam6310 yes, of course changing what you want is intentional. the change represents what you really want (i was saying that to Pep Legal). i agree with you about free will (i never disagreed with you). Sabine is wrong in this video. she demonstrates faulty unscientific reasoning. she has only re-framed free will. similar to how putting an object under a microscope, does not change what that object is
2
@carlosdgutierrez6570 didn't Gödel's incompleteness theorems already prove this? it doesn't really add anything to theology, as science is full of uncertainty regardless
2
if either 0 or 1 is the result of a calculation, then it seems like the confusion comes from trying to talk about the result before completing this calculation
1
Sabine, i disagree. i think you are confusing determinism with free will. clearly they go together. you are only re-framing free will, but then presenting it as if you did not re-frame it. for example: putting an object under a microscope, does not change what it is
1
@axle.student yeah that works pretty well
1
what's scientific about allowing it, because an athlete would otherwise have to wait too until they're too old? i consider having to wait too long, as simply tough luck
1
lmao. nice
1
congratulations Sabine. well done!
1
if she debunked the halting problem, then can she present a solution?
1
you can slow down the speed of the video
1
another possibility is that AI may have to learn to model and improve on human creativity
1
not really. this only changes the moment the decision was made. not whether the decision was made
1
i learned a lot from this. by the way, i remember that people aboard the USS Reagan were also affected by the Fukushima disaster
1
9:17 i love sarcasm, about waiting. interesting video as always
1
expecting people on the internet to consistently mark images that are AI generated, seems like wishful thinking. i expect that it's never going to happen even if the EU makes it into a law
1
my biggest annoyance is when news is simplified, to such an extent that it's contradicting itself. it seems like it's usually done to try and impress. but it becomes incomprehensible at that point
1
don't you mean change what you want?
1
@rajendrarajasingam6310 what's your point? i was responding to the opening post
1
what are you talking about. she is clearly moving her jaws
1
on the same day? how is that possible?
1
maybe they can put observatories on the constellations with the highest orbit. light pollution is terrible
1
yeah, seems like it, with the way she attacked this issue
1
i think that what was missing from Sabine's argument, was the average difference in strength between male and female athletes. without it, the percentage differences don't mean much and make for a weak argument
1
is the assumption here, that the dud bomb does not have a detector?
