@louisaagnes1509 i see. your view of feminism doesn't seem to pretend to include male "rights" and i think it's very reasonable that women's worth is not determined by having babies (great). but referring to that part of society that places both genders at disadvantages as patriarchy seems problematic to me, because this gendered term seems to place the blame on men and also ignores the progress that feminism has made. conservatism (preserving the old ways) seems like a more fitting term to me personally (not all men and women want babies to use your example), and that term is something i could get behind. the interests of men and women are not mutually exclusive, so in that sense it makes perfect sense that your view of feminism is unchanged. but it would be a pity if you meant that you are unfazed as a human being, and you happen to be a feminist. i wonder whether there should be a movement that include both the "rights" of men and women as a mission statement and isn't gendered, so that each gender has the other in their corner
