  2.  @Rosaltomaskil  i'm with Racmag on this. AI is in our field of software engineering. we will be the last ones whose job will be replaced utlimately. that doesn't mean that jobs in the medical field with be the first to go. but there quite a history of increased automation in the medical field. for a lot of medical equipment it is already the case that only a button has to be pressed to start a treatment process, so arguably machines are already treating patients and at the very least we are already well in that direction

  4.  @Rosaltomaskil  you did not fully read my comment. i said "that doesn't mean that jobs in the medical field with be the first to go". i expect simple developer jobs to disappear whether by AI or other automation. either way if AI is the direction everything is going, then software development will be one of the last remaining jobs om some form, because AI is a product of software development

  7. you are implicitly making companies into ethical entities, which i totally disagree with. companies thrive by paying you a fraction of what you make them, for starters. but you don't seem to have a problem with that imbalance

  8. as others have already said, don't base your future on a video. you should see it as a useful tool that could potentially do the boring parts of software engineering

  9. that's not a contradiction. a contradiction requires something to be both true and not true. something associated with any 2 things is not a contradiction. it has to specifically be associated with true and not true. examples: - not a contradiction: my shoe is black and white. - contradiction: my shoe is black and not black. ChatGPT often makes mistakes, but this is not one of them
