i'm often opposed to what Candace Owens' does, but i was pleasantly surprised that Brian got a hold of her and that she had some good things to say

she should then at least acknowledge that she had different experiences. i'm not buying it

no Brian is doing just fine. he doesn't let people walk over him. his way facilitates good conversations. just because Myron exists, doesn't mean that we need a middle ground

@BellicV what a lame and simplistic comment. nothing prevents a youtube channel from being used for pranks and a podcast. the fact that it was previously used as a prank channel, does not take away from it's value as a podcast. nice try

@BellicV pranks channels have for a large part become a thing of the past. they aren't as popular as they once were. i would say that the channel changed with the times. i've also been subscribed for about as long as you, but i welcome the change. the people that once watched the pranks grew up, and are now confronted with the terrible state of dating. so it makes perfect sense to me. i had lost interest in the channel, until they covered such a currently relevant hot topic

@BellicV discussing the same or similar topics is part of the strength. i think he is making a positive impact on society. because the media is talking about him. this would not have happened if he only did 1 or 2 videos on dating. people need to hear the same message repeatedly, for it to have an effect (that's how people work). i think it's more useful than dumb pranks. by the way, last night they did a different format, where they picked a topic and had 2 small debate teams of 2 competent people each, with virtually no interruptions by Brian

@joyfulhomemaker8053 oh my mistake. i naively assumed that these clips weren't taken out of context
1
exactly. many guys don't get that kicking people out, gives a quick ego boost but is damaging because it shuts down the conversation that could have taken place
1
@emillyyelen5169 some of us use laptops or computers
1
which episode or date were you on?
1
yeah that's annoying. i think it would be better to have them paused until they finish part of a conversation. because trying to remember what the superchat was responding to at the end or middle of the podcast seems impractical. you can already see that they tend to skip discussing superchats that concerns older topics
1
which other podcasters? Fresh and Fit were really pushing their luck in their racist outbursts against Aba and Preach
1
@rins6126 i suppose you think you're "alpha". hurling around terms like "beta"
1
@ericklumper3591 he invites older guests too
1
@kevinleewilliams5119 have you lived or been anywhere else outside of the US?
1
@ouwebrood497 i don't get it. what's so funny?

@TrueDirection i don't think his mind is made up about everything. you can see from episode to episode that his position develops on the points that he struggled with previously
1
@TrueDirection he says he's unsure plenty of times. i would say that he does seek per-meditated 'correct' answers but i have seen him get shutdown with that and i think he quietly learns from this. i don't remember specifically whether he has admitted to changing his mind, but i see him as the type that would. a good example is how his opinion on plastic surgery has changed, from completely rejecting women having it, to accepting it for example to restore damage after an accident. this happened after someone shut him down. also he makes some unique points that i have not heard before in this space, which shows that he is knowledgeable or at least thoughtful. i remember one of those good moments was when he countered the idea of women liking men that are vulnerable, by explaining that women don't like being approached by men showing vulnerability by not being confident
1
@TrueDirection i think this says more about your own assumptions. Brian didn't just assume he was correct. the women actually agreed with his example of vulnerability. to assume that there must be multiple definitions of vulnerability instead of the general one, and that Brian must have the wrong one, shows your own bias against him
