@AquilaCat are you saying that your experience is shared by most women? if that is your typical experience with all men, then i suspect that the issue is with your "prompts" or yourself not actually putting in any effort after "prompting"

@AquilaCat you not necessarily talking about the majority of women, is kind of the problem. but, even then i find hard to believe that this is consistently your experience, to be honest. perhaps it's your choice of conversation topics? (but that's just a guess). also saying that almost no man wants to keep the conversation going, could indicate that your expectations of what a man has to do for this are high. i suspect something else is going on, that you are not sharing

non-experience is still a negative experience. what seems to be missing is the standards men vs women use, to determine what constitutes a bad experience. it makes more sense to first compare standards, than to blindly assume that these are the same, because i'm pretty confident that women have much higher standards

@AquilaCat conversations ending after values not matching or red flags is of course appropriate. although, a few weeks(?!) sounds like a potentially long time to chat. it's long enough for a good chat to die down, especially with a stranger. but it kind of sounds like you don't realize this or take this into account
