@cattymajiv both men and women can "use" abstinence and birth control. but only the woman gets to decide afterwards if she wants an abortion and thus whether there are legal consequences for the man. so it's not equal

@TheLovescream fleeing is no fun, but being forced to die is much worse. these things are not remotely comparable. you made a boneheaded comparison
10
yeah and we have ourselves to thank for that. it's because of all these simps, flooding girls with attention. you would become picky too, with that much choice
7
@Jess-T no. women have birth control too. but after birth control fails, only the woman gets to decide
6
@cfri9332 those women? you act like it's not a majority
4
@demran17 why would my point require men to carry a pregnancy?
4
@artiarti5347 yes, and that's exactly why men need the option to legally opt out. as i said
4
@cfri9332 can you prove that the majority of women don't look at social status, when selecting a partner?

@kjkj4725 but you weren't born working from day 1. you first grew up and learned what working even is. my point is simply that even if you work full time, you don't live in isolation from the rest of the world (i reject this premise of yours). clearly you are here interacting with us and the rest of the world. in comparison to women we are often treated as disposable. specific examples: - conscription is on the more extreme end - but even simple expressions like "women and children first" - or being taught that boys are not allowed to cry, or else face ridicule - not being allowed to withdraw financial responsibility (paper abortion) when a woman gets pregnant, while she is allowed to make the decision for both - men are expected to do all the courting and paying for dates, despite supposed equality - men stand to loose the most wealth in divorce, as women seek men that are wealthier than them (don't get me started on custody) - most scholarships in the US are for women despite them having already overtaken men in graduating from universities - the MeToo movement, Johnny Depp & Amber Heard (among other events) has highlighted how easy it for a woman to ruin a man with baseless accusations of abuse - etc. women have their problems too and i'm all for equality. but almost completely ignoring men's problems or typically ridiculing them for their problems is terribly unfair. it's all ingrained in society

@rikulappi9664 let me fix that for you: "Paying taxes sucks too. However, everybody agrees that both men and women have to pay taxes"
3
i'm totally against war, but this seems fairer. maybe it will get women to speak up more politically, instead of their half of the population being so passive. but that's probably just wishful thinking
3
@XD-cr3du i would go even further and say that a guy's choice, is also influenced by what he expect's a woman's choice to be. he picks a younger girl because younger girls pick older guys. he picks a poorer girl because poorer girls pick richer guys. i'm oversimplifying a bit of course, but i hope you get the idea
2
@ysp263 agreed. that's ultimately what it comes down to
2
@prosperenfantinylosgeograf2721 this argument cuts both ways. do you really want the deciding factor for your spouse not leaving you, to be that they don't want to lose half their wealth? i would find that depressing. you should always account for your own biases, when you put forth these kinds of arguments
2
agreed. it's insane
2
@halphantom2274 dude, it is already a cycle
1
@Наталья-б8ц to be fair, you are NOT making the same point. he's saying you can do something about it, but you are saying that you can't
1
your underlying assumption is that money can make everything right. this is false
1
aren't living conditions also problems that men face? this does not make much sense
