  5.  @cynthiaaaa5204  fair enough, if we ignore the effort of specialization. a stenographer could also type out the recording, but i guess the best quality sound comes from being there. which of course comes with the stress of keeping up with the live event. so i agree with you. i do wonder if there is always a recording for them to go back to, in case they failed to keep up and had to drop some text

  7. speech-to-text does not have to rule out human involvement. maybe all that's needed is people monitoring the speech-to-text and fixing the few errors, just like we notice when the auto generated captions are wrong
