  1. i'm also a programmer, but i would caution you fellow programmers that you should already know how easy it is to shout things from the sidelines. as @entcraft44 pointed out a disagreement is not automatically a good situation. it's also very easy to talk after the fact. and as other have pointed out, we don't know what the managers forced them to do. i hope you you guys attack bugs in your software with the same verocity. i'm ashamed of how many bugs i encounter in computer systems almost everyday

  2. it sounds like MCAS should have been removed, instead of limiting it to 1 activation per flight. it's just another potential point of failure
