  1. Why wasn't a system like this used on the Mars Rover solar panels? I've suggested the concept many times not realizing that NASA has had and used this method before...& like why didn't they use rechargeable batteries on the first Rover?

  3.  @GarrySax  I agree for the most part, I just don't why it couldn't have just be activated for a short time to prevent dust buildup from reaching some critical level . The long term gains should have outweighed the short term losses. But Hindsight 20/20 Insight no more...
