Seriously though, they changed the residential property from a livable house to an empty lot. Even if it 'technically' not emanate domain despite being clearly altered , it was at least a form of unlawful constructive eviction! They should be awarded at least the prorated value of the home.. I also wouldn't be surprised that if they won ,of course the insurance company would rightfully claim the money and leave them on the hook for the legal fees.

My parents had a bunch of those radioactive vynal record dust brushes, by ionizing the air it became conductive and eliminated static cling to get dust off records.. not a good idea for everyone's living room, but would have been a good cheap lightweight idea for NASA Mars Rover ...

I've found gpt very useful to at least point me in the right direction to find what i need. When i actually know what im promting it to tell me , ive found the majority of it's responses impressive if not creative.. but Big but The remaining responses are downright scary.. For instance Prompting for suggestions regarding the creation of hydrophobic ionic liquids resulted in a procedure to produce fluorinated aniline derivatives, if there are any chemists reading this, you likely are glad I checked in the possibilities of following its response, for the continuing lives of tens of thousands of humans that wouldn't be if I followed what It recommended!!!!! Scary.. Classic "a little knowledge is a dangerous thing".

@lesleyghostdragon3149 I was wondering when someone would say something like that! R.e. , my kids, I took two eggs, dissolved the shells off with vinegar, drew eyes on them and did a whole dramatic "AND THIS IS YOUR EYES ON BUNGEE CORDS!" routine... They forgot in a week, one had to get hooked in the arm for them to stop(enforced by my drama), honestly I thought I was gonna be the one to loose an eye trying to get them to stop! (Removing them from the house didn't work, neighbors, friends etc..) I was far worse as a kid so I count my blessings...

I had a chunk of my inner thigh cut out by one, finally my underwear jamming the motor, luckily I was hanging to the left instead of the right that day. I sware, of all my scars , that was the most tramatic...

@tonyclemens4213 I made my own when I was a kid, somehow I got uranium, ore from a rock show and uranium acetate trading with a collage kid, saved banned pesticides for chlorinated hydrocarbons, mercury from blood pressure devices so I could electrolyze my own sodium. Then when I tried making my own fuming sulphuric acid/oleum in the basement by burning sulphur and my shoddy setup fell apart and spread out over half a pound of burning sulphur (concrete except for ceiling thank God) . I couldn't breathe and barely made it upstairs and out. Filled the house with sulphur dioxide. It tarnished every bit of silver in the house, pitted , ruined my parents 25year anaversoy stuff , the silverware, jewelry, all pitted and black, on all 3 floors.. Needless to say, but my mom tossed my chemistry set after that.(a week later when she could come back to the house and still breathe). Yeah, when my mom came back she was pissed, grabbed all my chemicals, went straight to the backyard and tossed them over the fence... Into the neighbors vegetable garden .. Uranium, mercury and all.. Never told the neighbors. That was 40 years ago.

When council for the defense said "rightfull immunity to prosecution" , does that mean both civil and criminal? Regardless , their conduct was excessive and police have been successfully procesicuted for being excessive in many other situations, they should be here and be held accountable for at least approximately as much damage as was excessive. Even though the house was a total, the police should be given some leaway as they needed to be able to protect life and limb. I mean like jeaze if they could hear the gun click they knew where the gunman was and didn't need to tear down the walls.
