  1. I would recomend a Mower which already places the hay in a tighter string, saving 30% of the mowing time. Larger bales are also more efficient as you have to change them less freqent, and there are holders that keep them from touching the ground so the cows can eat more of them. But yes I know, that is investment that will take years and years to earn back >.<"

  2. You should do a control test with 2 engines with the same oil to see if there is a large difference between engines.
