Well, they are under 2.2 bar of boost, so they are 90.9 HP unboosted. If your car has 100 HP it would do 220 HP with this kind of boost, if it survives it :😂

I think you have seen to many romantic Italian movies....Italians are just more secretive, in the North we talk openly...no bullshit! A car has no soul! A car is a machine...so be it! I think it is more intriguing knowing what is powering your car rather than thinking it is a magic engine made by Italian masters...Â

M3Conv That is because the car is hardly sold in double digit numbers...not enough cars to go around to test them...They are meant to be personal beasts to play with! The veyron was good when it were built, not anymore...the koenigsegg engine is far beter, and not based on a ford engine that you propouse! Its made from botom up in Sweden by Koenigsegg in their shop! 1360HP out of a 5 Liter V8 is not bad with only  11.7 PSI of boost! Naturaly aspirated it would have about 700HP by calculating on the boost. And with a weight of 100kg for the engine and 80kg for the tranny we got F1 preformance out of a stock street car! And this is when tuned for E100, the engines are capable of 2000+ HP if driven on racing gas...Seen any Veyron doing anything similar with its egnine? I dont think so...

M3Conv Sure, it handles beter than any other street car due to its suspension! And for the engine...they have completely costume valve heads, cylinders and camshafts...not the same engine! Way lighter than any Ford 5 liter engine! You must have a real troll hate not to see that! Further more the car is speced at 100% fluids and 50% fuel with the HP rating at the wheels! Beats any car on the market! Just to few to get around to test them on the tracks yet! 12 of them if i remember correctly! And another feat is 1000Nm of torque from 3000rpm to 7500rpm! beat that mofos!

MrSickass Well, not entirely, the hard thing is to make it compatible with normal gasoline too! And the emissions contain some CO2 because the ethanol molecule is composed of 2 carbon atoms

No, they spool up the turbos with compressed air, the acutal boost is made by the turbos, not the compressor.

They build their own turbos, he means twin scorll variable-geometry turbos.

It's a 7 clutch gearbox. The stick is for shifting to the lowest or highest possible gear without overrevving or underrevving. You can also use the paddle shifters.

No, precision is just a name for twin scoll variable-geometry turbos. They build their own turbos in house :D

They are too long, a compact V8 makes the most sense as you can fit it into a smaller chassi and then save weight. He just turned the boost up from 1.8 bar to 2.2 bar to get more Horse power out of it :D Fun fact, a V12 version of this engine would be able to hit 2400 HP :O!!!

Probably in like 10 years or more, they need a lot more funding, factory space and engineering space to be able to focus on that separately.

 @bojunchoi6354 Intercooler only cools the pressurized air to close to ambient, and the exhaust doesn't affect it much. Maybe you could get another 5% NA with fine tuning.
