Is it free will if they had no other viable option? I would call it modern slavery.

@susza89 They didn't, they didn't have money to travel, no other job to get, and their only option was to become a slave of a husband. You watch too much TikTok and Fox news, I don't even watch TV regularly...

@susza89 Exactly, just like they use slaves in US prisons by not giving them phone time, throwing them in solidary cpnfinement etc. if they don't work for a couple of cents an hour. You wanna excuse the exploration of humans, which is slavery...maybe you just wanna paint the past as happy and perfect? Watching too much Fox News and far-right TikToks?

@susza89 If they where given the bare minimum in order for them to become trapped in this job, then it's slavery, just like in the prisons. You saying it is not so doesn't magically make it not slavery.
