No, they are not, they are slowly increasing the demand for agriculture to be sustainable and less polluting. That is not the same as deciding to decrease the output, that is not the governments fault, it's the farmers job to increase it with the new limitations put in place to ensure we have a liveable planet in the future.

@Justan669 Well, if the farmers cannot adapt to the change, they need to find other jobs... Airplanes stand for less than 2% of the world's output of CO2, while agriculture stands for 19%. Of course politicians use jets, their job is to meet people and strike deals, learn from each other and form bonds... You are crazy if you think farmers know more about politics than politicians do....

@Justan669 Nope, they stand for less than 0.1% of the US emissions...and the US have one of the largest militaries. No, that is more inspite of the farmers farming on them, if you study their soil they have degraded heavily over the years quickly depleeting the important top soil layers...the farmers bad practices all over the world are making more and more land not suitable for farming...because they till the soil too much and only plant single year plants. You know nothing about farming and nothing about geopolitics, maybe you should shut it and go educate yourself before making yourself a fool?
