I mean you come off strongly as someone who feel attacked. When have Tom ever said totalitarianism is good? As far as I know he is in favor of social democrasy, which is not totalitarian. But maybe you are one of them who think that is Communism, which is not even totalitarian in it's Marxist form, Stalinism is, and to a degree fascist you could argue.

  7. Depends if their longterm vision is valid or not, some might be wrong on what is the best long term.

  8. @ By having strong institutions that have great say in such matters, like enviormental protection bodies. Short term government is only bad if you let disinformation run rampant, bribes go unchecked and other favours to influence the people in government. We need to keep things from becoming a spiral of capital and bad none factual media running the narratives.
