That’s the first adult analysis I’ve read so far. I think Twitter will be ruined by a court battle. They’ll be arguing, “You knew it was all bots and fake accounts when you offered to buy it,” which is not a great look for a company that makes its money from idiots who like to scream at people over trivial arguments, or who make important arguments trivial by their lies and narcissistic sophistries. For smart people, finally being able to put a number to the fake accounts of droids and algorithms will come as no surprise, but they don’t use Twitter anyway. For the other 90+% of humanity, finding out they’ve been arguing with programmable calculators all day, every day, for the past 10 years, will put a crimp in their egos. It would kill Twitter. No down sides that I can see then.

Ahah . . . Funny . . . People won’t like finding out that they spend their days arguing with droids, bots and algorithms. Musk will shame Twitter (and maybe kill it?) by telling the world how most of the followers of most famous people are as fake as their news stories, and having them admit as much in court. This might have been his plan all along? Let’s face it? It’s not like smart people didn’t already know this? But, for the other 90+% of the planet, it’s going to be a shock that will make them switch to other platforms, or get a life and stop screaming into the void on social media altogether ? Can’t see a good outcome for Twitter, except settling out of court. But, maybe Musk doesn’t want that? Fun times.
