If it comes to a choice between living as a slave, grovelling on your knees, or dying whilst standing bravely on your feet, which would you choose? That is the only choice that both China and Russia are conspiring to offer the rest of the globe. Between them, the occupation of Taiwan and Ukraine would effectively mean a global technology monopoly that would be impossible to compete with. If they succeed, the rest of the world would enter a new dark age, while Russia and China not only thrive, but have the power to force us to trade away all of our freedoms just to prevent mass starvation and technological annihilation.
Personally, I would much rather die a man, on my feet, fighting for the freedom to live free than be enslaved to a psychotic, juvenile gangster like Putin, or an indoctrinated terrorcrat like Xi.

Interesting irony, don’t you think? The same thing applies to Ukraine, being the original place from which what we now call Russia sprang. It’s these cultural hang ups that Xi and Putin find so shaming, in their immaturity and indoctrinated perversions of history, from which they create their pretexts for invasion. Yet the reverse would be more justifiable, though unconscionable too. The real reason is, of course, greed and money. If one leader could control both Ukraine and Taiwan, they would have a monopoly on worldwide technology for the foreseeable future. Ukraine produces well over 50% of the world’s Argon supplies, vital for the manufacturing processes of microchips; whilst Taiwan produces TWO THIRDS of the world’s microchips! From ONE factory! Or, that was the state of play at the beginning of the Covid outbreak, which is why you can’t buy a PS5 unless you’re prepared to pay double what the market value is, to a, “scalper.” Between them, Xi and Putin intend to thrust the free world into a new dark age, forcing us to trade away our freedoms to avoid starvation. Though, Xi secretly loathes Putin for jumping the gun and then being so incompetent on Ukraine, effectively screwing up his own plans for invasion.
I don’t know which is scarier? The indoctrinated ideologue that is Xi, who really believes his own line of bollox, or the out of control juvenile gangster that is Putin, who doesn’t believe in anything except power and hard cash?

More than many realise. Ukraine produces well over 50% of the world’s Argon; vital for producing microchips. Whilst Taiwan (at the beginning of the Covid outbreak) was manufacturing TWO THIRDS of the world’s microchips from ONE FACTORY, which was forced to temporarily shut down due to Covid, thus causing the international shortage of supplies. Biden’s administration has been doing something about varying its sources of Argon and microchip manufacture, but that’s all under wraps, so we just don’t know how well that’s going. But, if you ever wondered why it costs twice the market price for a PS5 or Xbox, through scalpers, now you know. Scarcity causes exploitation.
If we were to lose both Ukraine and Taiwan from the free world, China and Russia would thrust the free world into a technological Dark Age, forcing us to give up more of our democratic freedoms, just to feed our populations. Thus, this is a fight that every last one of us has a dog in.
