The Lords are already, “constitutionally limited,” as they cannot stop the major money bills regardless, as they can only ask the Commons to, “think again,” and send a bill back once, before being ignored, so they’re worse than an anti democratic anachronism, they’re just a way to drag out the time and cost of everything. The spending bills are the one item of business that need better representation among the people of Britain and the Lords simply serve to muddy the waters and make the common citizen lose interest and feel more disempowered.
