  1. We actually NEED net migration. Where has this idea that migration is, “bad,” come from? We NEED population growth. At least, we do if we want to grow our economy and our power on the world stage.

  2. I don’t think Starmer is wrong to draw a distinction between the science and biology of human beings, and how people identify if they commit to that identity. He’s right that there is a distinction. We cannot and should not ignore the fact that, “gender dysphoria,” is an extant condition. Why are we not, “allowed,” to talk about that? There will be (and probably are presently) people who are just ill and who need love, compassion and professional treatment in order to recover. There are people who identify as the opposite sex from their present gender, who would not do so if they were healthy and recovered from their psychological illness called, “gender dysphoria.” How do we identify those people who need professional, compassionate help, unless ALL people who seek gender reassignment are given the SAME opportunities to identify what is an illness, by going through a consistent, scientific, professional and compassionate process, which seeks to separate those people from those who are not ill and just need the treatment to transition. I know I’m not qualified to make such distinctions, but the experts could do a lot of good, if we took a grownup, consistent approach.
