I never got the logic of this whole, “Stop The Boats,” thing. I mean, I get that there are factions of the extreme right making inroads into the Tory party, and this new species of brown skinned brown shirtism seems to be the elephant in the room that even the left are struggling to address for fear of coming off as racist. But the extreme right are still a tiny minority in British politics. And the best response I ever heard to that slogan was, “No one asked for that!” I just keep asking WHY? We need more young people and population growth. The types of younger people, seeking a new life, with that type of energy and capability, to get around all the obstacles in their path and come to Britain are exactly who we need. Suella Braverman and Sunak have created a money sink and a racist divide over a problem that did not exist until THEY created it! They’re not just bad at their jobs, but they are a genuine security risk.
