  1. I understand your cynicism as it’s well warranted. But I would urge you NEVER to give up on it. It is the jewel in our nation’s crown and one of the last, “resources,” of real value that the far right, Liz Truss Liberal-economics carpet baggers, are eyeing so greedily for that very reason. It is to me, the last vestige of Britain that sets us apart from the animalistic wilderness of the American system, wherein an average income family can suddenly find itself spending the rest of their lives in crippling debt due to an accident or sudden illness that their insurers found a loophole out of. Most of America’s worst poverty stories begin with a health issue and end in the morgue, with their insurers playing a big role in the middle. Don’t give up! I beg of you!

  2. I don’t know anyone who thinks that saving the NHS is beyond our nation’s finances or will? They see the staggering wealth of transport, fuel and tech companies, and especially in the hands of the polluting water companies and other unworthy types, (many of which, “serve,” in Parliament) which simply belongs to us. It’s not like people just think the NHS is a hill worth dying on. Most people think it’s essential! We simply will not allow the NHS to die without a fight that would see its worst enemies tossed into a wilderness from which there would be no coming back!
