  1. The world is at war! Putin has the entire planet fighting through one country and we’re ALL going into a recession that is as unavoidable as physics! The only thing more frightening than the idea of this delusional, offshore billions stashing freak, EVER getting back at the levers of power, is the possibility that he might actually BELIEVE the crap he’s trying to sell us! Liz Truss will be bad enough for Britain, leaving an anxious nation hoping she doesn’t break too much of it before we get that longed for national election! But at least she’s blaming the right person for the fact that planet Earth is facing utter destruction, Putin, and is willing to DO SOMETHING about that! Sunak would sell the entire country to the highest bidder! Including Putin himself!

  2. You say that like Sunak has the faintest notion of what, “long term,” even means, beyond the interest he gets from his wife’s offshore billions. He will try to buy the nation’s affections with tax cuts until he thinks it’s safe to hold a national election and then promptly sell the entire country to the highest bidder (probably Putin or Xi) and call it a, “devolution package.”

Well, he’s already in the billionaire’s club, even if his billions happen to be in his wife’s name and sitting offshore where they don’t have to pay taxes or contribute a damned thing to British life, rather like everything else about him. He has a carpet bag in one hand and an axe in the other, and all he has to do is convince enough Tory members around the country that they’ll get their share from his Closing Down Britain Sale, which he will call a, “Devolution Package,” when he signs us over to our new owners, Putin and Xi.
