Indeed, it’s probably the worst (single) atrocity that regime committed. The city rebelled, so they encircled it and destroyed everything and everyone. Truly horrific. Their own people!

You know, I half expected these dominoes to start falling from the first weeks of the Ukrainian invasion, when it became clear that Ukraine was going to keep fighting and could even win. But it never happened. Now, my prayers are finally being answered. And, CRUCIALLY, each geographic zone has every reason to step up their efforts, to make the all around pressure upon the Russian dictatorship PROFOUND. Georgia, Ukraine, Syria, even Chechnya all have dogs in this fight.

@gerri577 : YouTube is zapping my responses to you. I don’t know why? Third and final attempt. You’re distorting the facts. But, no one who follows the facts doubts that anyway.

@gerri577 : Well, both your last comments are wrong. Distortions of the facts. Putin doesn’t want to frighten his people into revolution and he wants to retain direct (legal) control over the armed forces according to the Russian, “constitution.” That’s why they’re not allowed to say the word, “war.” And as to Russia’s connection to Syria, read the papers. Their biggest port and airbase, outside the boundaries of the former Soviet Union, are right there in Syria. Lots of goodies just waiting for HTS to pick up. Look on Googlemaps and see just how VAST those areas are. Towns unto themselves. Losing on any front costs Russia on all fronts. Chickens are coming home to roost.

@gerri577 : Well, both your last comments are distortions of the facts. Putin’s declarations re’ Ukraine are loopholes in the, “constitution,” which allow him to retain control without frightening his citizens into another mass exodus or worse. And as to Russia’s connection to Syria, their biggest port and airbase, outside the boundaries of the former Soviet Union, are right there in Syria. Lots of material goodies just waiting for HTS to pick up, or deny the Russians. Look on Googlemaps and see just how VAST those areas are. Towns unto themselves. Losing on any front costs Russia on all fronts, regardless of Israel’s involvements (real or imagined).

@gerri577 : “The Devil mixes lies with the truth.” People can misrepresent facts by placing emphasis on true but irrelevant factors, or deemphasising essential facts. Like you did.

@gerri577 : Or . . . What if Russia is actually using everything it’s got to prop up Assad, right now? What if the hard shell of Russian, “might,” is thinner than we think? What if there’s no 3D chess going on whatsoever and we’re just seeing greedy, murderous dictators failing due to their complacency and overreach?

@gerri577 : I’m still getting zapped by YouTube. I still cannot guess as to why? Another attempt: Or . . . What if Russia is actually using everything it’s got to prop up Assad, right now? What if the hard shell of Russian, “might,” is thinner than we think? What if there’s no 3D chess going on whatsoever and we’re just seeing greedy, murderous dictators failing due to their complacency and overreach?

When they take the Russian airbase on the west coast, then we can say they probably have a lasting victory. I suspect the Russian port, to the south, which has rushed most of its boats into the Mediterranean, is sending them to the airport to retrieve equipment and personnel. They say they’re preparing for, “exercises,” but that’s obviously false. Get that airbase, HDS! That’s the key to survival here.
