Amanda, You will win your case, & you must not let them intimidate you by pressing on through their "mistaken" charges. You were assaulted by an opportunist who lost his nerve & turned his focus to his alibi. The DUI charge is now a tactic. They want you to be so relieved, when they finally drop it, through bargaining, that you will reduce your claim against them. Don't let them get away with that. You deserve to be safe; you deserve to be protected, not assaulted.
