Not possible, nor wise. Given that every word out of Putin’s (and by extension, Lavrov’s) mouth has been a lie, I’m not worried about any nuclear threat at all. Even if he was terminally ill, would Putin want to kill his whole country, including his own children and grandchildren in a murder-suicide? Just like the ones he keeps faking for all those oligarch friends of his who are dropping like flies? He acts like a man who’s desperate to survive, to me.

When you take away all the trolls operating on farms around the globe funded by Moscow, the idiots doing it for money and the frightened Russian people themselves, who daren’t say anything but what Putin wants to hear, how many people does that leave anyway? Seriously. Globally, the number of Putin supporters must number less than 1% of 1%?

And, given that every word Putin speaks is a lie, the very last thing I’m worried about is him committing the biggest murder-suicide in history. The more they threaten, the less I worry. If they stopped talking about their nukes I would be more interested. 🙄✌️

@maanmohammad8459 : Just like when you meet a truly dangerous opponent, they are dangerous because they don’t broadcast their intentions or make empty threats. Only the weak keep repeating the same threat without acting on it. Putin is too desperate to survive to sign his own death warrant. And if anything, his constant grandstanding while western forces continue to mass around his borders only serve to make the invasion of Russia a possibility. After all, with Russia’s epic history of nuclear disasters (both civil and military) the threat of an, “accidental discharge,” is what we should be concerned about!

Really? Well, now he’s said the, “nuclear war threat is real,” I don’t believe it. Everything out of Putin’s mouth is a lie, and Lavrov is just Putin’s prison bitch. If we really want a lasting peace, and to see Putin, “weakened so they can’t do in future what they did to Ukraine,” then we must keep redoubling our efforts until Putin’s cowards, rapists, looters, torturers and murderers are out of the entire country, including Donbas and especially Crimea!
