I’ve never understood how all these gun toting, confederate flag waving, “alpha male,” adoring voters always love adopting such beta male victimhood status. Trump fans are always so effeminate once they get talking. “I’m such a victim! You all hate me! I want my mommy.” How do they reconcile that flat out contradiction?

@christianjunghanel6724 : The one thing won’t affect the other. He’s either guilty or not, facing mandatory jail time or not. The only debate will be how to jail a man who is entitled to round the clock secret service protection, by law? My proposal is that the federal government should compel the sale of Mar a Lago, strip it of all luxuries and telecommunications and confine him there, so the secret service can do their jobs without stepping on the prison authority’s toes. But that’s just me. And, of course, he wouldn’t win any fair, democratic election, so that’s a moot issue.

@davidhunternyc1 : Ah, your second post preempted mine. That’s what I get for replying to people one at a time instead of reading them all first. I think he will be confined there, or somewhere like it. But they will strip away golfing privileges. Once they’ve ordered a compulsory sale of the property, there will be fences and security cutting the former golf course in half anyway. The federal government will own it and do what they like with it.

@firecat3613 : Let’s be fair, here? trump hasn’t faced his day in court yet. He has not been tried for any offences that are punishable with jail time . . . yet. They are coming. And jail is mandatory for some of those offences. And he will lose those trials. That’s the real test. No judge is going to add to the froth by slapping a 10 day contempt sentence on him, which would only play right into his effeminate, victimy, “woe is me,” hands, if they can avoid it. But they could start slapping percentages of his estimated worth type fines on him and hurt him where it counts. There’s plenty of legal precedent for that. And that’s where he really does, “feel,” it. Especially if the order stipulates that he is not allowed to take up any collections to pay his fines off. Anything under the table would be a felony, so that avenue would be closed to him.
