Many of them are regretting their decision for the first time this Christmas. They honestly didn’t think Donny would do this to them. I know. I’ve talked to some of them already. They’re as gutted as everyone else. In fact, I’ve just finished talking to one (former inlaw) who called me, admitted that my predictions about Donny were always true, and wanted to ask me what he will do next? She’s pretty desperate it seems? She didn’t like my answer, despite my being polite, helpful as I could be, and my sending some support, for her kids. She still got mad, blamed me, for his evil and hung up. If it wasn’t for her kids, I wouldn’t have even taken the call. Donny’s hitting out at everyone, now. Which, at least, might help with Georgia

Yup, there is no bottom to a vacuum of evil, just more evil. The only comfort that can be taken from this? Well, finally, there’s a few million trump voters, who’s jaws are slack with shock, horror and a new set of serious financial problems, who honestly thought Donny was bluffing. They probably think someone will tell him he’s hurting his base as much as (if not more than) his opponents, by stealing Christmas, and he’ll change his mind. At least THEY are getting swept up in this wave of hate, with everyone else. Merry Christmas 🎄? . . .

FKR : Biden’s a centrist, with a proven track record. So, I’m guessing you’re pretty young? He helped Obama turn the economic disaster of the 2008 banking crisis around with staggering success. And, contrary to Trumpophile propaganda, that was not achieved by tax rises on the poor. Education is the solution. Pure and simple (unlike the water) and it always will be. The countries with the most liberal, accessible education systems are also the most prosperous, per capita. And that’s NOT a coincidence.
As to the threat of another trump in 4 years, or a trump type, that’s very real. Swift, harsh, merciless justice is the answer to that. The signs were ignored, which were first visible when the Freedom Caucus (the political wing of the Tea Party) got a grip on the GOP and blocked Obama’s SCOTUS appointments. Not what they did, but the manner in which they did it. Since then, the GOP has realised that they could get away with worse rejections of our norms, time and again. Those, “norms,” having proved useless, must now be codified into law.
Exposure, and the harshest penalties that law allows, will make it unpatriotic to support Trumpism again, if handled swiftly and harshly enough. Putting fear into the types tempted to try that shit again, and an insurmountable ideological obstacle in the way of the uneducated. Democracy is not a right, it’s a hard won privilege. People are learning that now. And, even many of trump’s most rabid supporters are regretting that now, as they didn’t real think he would steal their Christmas too. I suspect the votes in Georgia will reflect that? As will the GOP’s desperate attempts to sabotage the Georgia vote?
