When was the She Hulk for created in Marvel Comics? The 60’s, or 70’s? Maybe as late as the 1980’s? Whenever it was, it was at a time when women were challenging the patriarchy for the first time in western history. Yet they were still very much having to fight for that legal and cultural equality. So the idea of the She Hulk was an interesting one, showing a woman who had the capacity to side step male domination through shear force. But, today, it’s just not like that for women, so this character is an anachronism. Maybe they should have set it in the 1970’s? She doesn’t have a place in the modern world.
