Dr Strange is actually Jake Gillenall, explaining why he’s so willing? And I understand why he doesn’t, “just want to tell M J.” It was the journey they went on. She found out in such a way that made her fall for him. And, his last minute doubts made me think he was being smarter than strange. Why would he start doing the spell before explaining the whole thing? Especially to a teenager, who’s brain hasn’t fully developed? Made me think he was being weird too. Alfred Molina was awesome as Doc Oc, and that was my biggest buzz. Hope they bring in Miles Morales from the Spider Verse too!

@bvmukeshreddy9460 : I must admit, it’s more than just a fan of the source material casting a critical eye over his likes and dislikes. But, I doubt he would pretend that it doesn’t earn him his main source of income, by generating interest. Having said that, from the point of view of someone who drunkenly, yet wisely, speaks truth to artistic power, he is just talking about what most people are interested in, so? . . . Hanged if he does, hanged if he doesn’t, right? I did comment, over a year ago, that it would be nice to see a more broad net cast, looking at things that come from studios other than Disney? Don’t think he’s gonna’ listen to me though 😉

@kittysplode : I never understand terms like, “nostalgia bait,” or, “fan service.” I get that it can look or feel like cynical exploitation, in the context of the final product, if it’s handled badly. But, in trailers? Isn’t that just called, “giving fans what they want?” 🤷‍♂️ Discuss . . . 😉
