  1. This guy seems smarter than Dawkins because he’s an artist as well as a scientist. The, “finesse,” of thinking that is unbound by one way of seeing the world than the bound system of reductionism.

  4. Oh, I think Putin was always a one note, monomaniacal spider. I think he studied Stalin and modelled his entire life on that. This mix of crime and mafia support, blackmail, threats, murder and organised corruption on industrial scales, all to get into power and keep it, is all apparent. I agree that he began, apparently, to think in terms of his legacy during his isolation while Covid frightened him. And that this was the first time he began to realise he was mortal. And as is the case with all monomaniacs, that just made him worse.

  5. Sabina mentioned a quote, “Science is the only news.” I would suggest, “Science is the only, ‘good,’ news,” these days. It has its fair share of bad news, perhaps the worst in fact? But it also seems that the only news that ever gives me hope comes from the results of scientific endeavour.
