  3.  @derekbaker3279 : And they are wrong in their assessment. Just as they were wrong about Kyiv being expected to fall so fast and all of Putin’s red lines. Western leaders are not as realistic as their populations, sadly. They are misreading Russian history and Russia’s ability to cope with a sudden change of leadership, which they have shown, time and again, they are well geared for. Russia will not collapse just because Putin goes, or if they pull out of Ukraine.

  5. That $35 billion loan was worth a headline! Putin will eat his heart out and his oligarch’s will be furious! Their money will effectively paying for Ukraine’s war and repairing civilian infrastructure! That’s a GREAT compromise!
