@tomiv2442 : Speaking as a Christian believer, I feel bound to say, you are not achieving anything good for any faith. Unsolicited and unqualified Bible quotes are received as patronising at best, alienating at worst. The quote alone does not, “speak for itself,” before you suggest it does. Nor do the words have any relevance to current affairs unless you qualify them with your own thoughts. Otherwise they are just the words of an apostle, roughly translated, from 2,000 years ago, giving specific advice to a specific church, which faced very specific and irrelevant issues to those faced by Ukrainian warriors or their supporters in the present day.
I say this BECAUSE I am a believer. I do not like to see Biblical quotations so abused. If you want to do good in the world, give some thought to the quotes you prefer, tell people how they pertain and to whom and to what. Then use them. A drive by quoting does no one any good. But it does the image of believers harm.
If you are sincere, do not answer with pride. Answer with thought. Or, ignore me altogether and let that be more eloquent than a flat quotation.
