I fear what Putin has up his sleeve for Kherson. Is the place going to be filled with booby traps? Almost certainly. But that narrative of the, “dirty bomb,” hangs over this. Do you think it’s possible that a chemical, biological or nuclear weapon might be set off in Kherson? Putin is certainly capable of that level of spite and has been desperately casting about for a narrative that provides just enough, “plausible deniability,” for him to be able to retain China’s support. If he could retain Xi as an ally, after a nuclear strike, he would do it, I feel sure of that. But there’s no scenario in which his finger prints won’t be apparent.

They should rename that square after Alexander Solzhenitsyn and really make the point, perhaps? Rather than utter Derussification, which may throw the baby out with the bath water, why not celebrate the Russians and Ukrainians who stood up to Stalin and others of the communist regime that Putin is trying so hard to whitewash? After all, the greatest Russians in history, and the founders of what would become Russia, were all from Ukraine. If anyone has a, “historical right,” or a claim to historical ownership, it’s literally the other way around. Ukraine could invade Russia with less controversy about who has the right to be running Russian affairs. That’s just a historical fact. Anyway, glory to Ukraine and DOWN with Putin. ✌️🇺🇦

I said last year that one of the outcomes of this would be that Russia would get so crushed that they end up trading away their rusty nukes for concessions just to survive. And here we are. Putin’s end is looming.
