If EVER we’ve given the west EVERY pretext to justify an all out invasion of Russia, it’s been the past year and a half, yet they STILL show ZERO interest in doing so! Maybe the ones among us, with a better grip on reality, and with friends leading the front line soldiers in Ukraine, should start plotting round about now? If that army was to come home and point its guns at the Kremlin, people like us would have pretty bright futures as heroes in the west and democratic friends to our own people?”

Jake: Do you really believe that China does not care if Ukraine wins the war? Can you speak to what kind of, “victory,” China would be happy to see? I have never thought they would see it as tolerable, but I’m happy to be corrected. Love your work. But, you know that by now, I hope? 🇺🇦✌️

@ninemoonplanet : Agreed. I wrote to my British Member of Parliament, as I believe we all should write to our representatives. Let them know that THIS is the election decider that you will be voting on: whether they understand and care that Ukraine is fighting the battle for freedom for ALL of us, and will show it by giving them a full navy, airforce and infantry, with long range capabilities, instead of just enough to keep the wolf, not even from their door, but just outside their daughter’s bedroom! Anyone who tells you that writing to your representatives is a waste of time is either ignorant or lying to excuse their own laziness. 👍 🇺🇦🇬🇧🇨🇦 Slava Ukraine 🇺🇦

“No blank cheque,” was clearly (in my mind) what McCarthy had to say to please Margery Traitor Green and Co while he was still negotiating with her and her allies for the votes he needed to become Speaker. After all, it only really means, “scrutiny,” rather than waving every aid package through. We should all hope the GOP is paying attention, shouldn’t we? As MTG’s star begins to fade, he is more at liberty to speak freely. And, make no mistake, she may be as loud as ever, but her influence is waning within and without her bubble of influence. It’s probably truer to think of people like McConnell as representing the broader party view, if not the GOP voter’s?
