@catchaser52 : Remember the 60 or so drones that Ukraine flew right into the poshest neighbourhood of Moscow? Not one of them had a warhead on it. Ukraine does not kill civilians deliberately. That’s not who we are. But that is also why Ukraine will win. Your rage is understandable. What you do with it is what matters.

@kungfreddie : Actually, his, “Our tax dollars shouldn’t,” talking point is the weakest argument there is for America to withdraw support for Ukraine. The ramping up of missile, vehicle and weaponry production is all jobs, bonuses and taxable export tariffs going into the governments pockets, whilst continuing to bring down unemployment figures. Most sections of America’s economy are profiting from the Ukraine war. Some cynics even believe that this could explain why America and other western countries don’t want Ukraine to win too fast, while private business and various exchequers are making bank around the globe? While I don’t buy that, there will be a grain of truth to it. But, MacGregor is just factually wrong. Perhaps he thinks that all weapons drop out of God’s hands and into his without any human touching them prior?

Thank you, as ever, Jake. I have been enjoying watching Putin try to save face whilst attempting to hide the black eyes and bloody nose he has at the same time. Holding a, “spontaneous,” gathering of students and state employees in the streets looks so like a teen YouTuber playing catch-up with his nearest rival, it’s hilarious. How can Putin recover while Wagner are not being folded into the army on his orders? And while the man who defied him props up a dictator who is now in a fresh position to say no to Putin?

@monster8392 : Except, we have no reason to believe Russia actually has nukes in Belarus. All the Intel is contrary. It could actually be the reverse situation, as Lukashenko has been leery of allowing nukes in his country, knowing that they’ll come with all the overwhelming, “security measures,” and personnel that shove Putin’s fist a little deeper up his rectum. Now he has an ally capable of stopping Russian troops on the border, with a high interest in doing so. Never forget, these are not, “friends,” we’re talking about here, but a bunch of gangsters circling each other in a shark tank, looking for exploitable weaknesses. I doubt Belarus will ever see a nuke, and they’ve probably had severe consequences spelled out for them by the west, should they try it.
