Thank you, Jake. I am always most comforted when Putin makes his most diabolical threats. All it signifies is his desperation, as does his shuttle diplomacy. He hates leaving town, let alone the country. He’s not a happy bunny.

Indeed, Jake. If the Farage/Trump Putin propaganda had ANY basis in fact, why did Putin have NOTHING to say about Finland and Sweden joining NATO? Now Russia’s border with NATO has literally DOUBLED in size and there has been no military activity whatsoever in response! The most reliable opinion polls tracked by the west show that Putin pulled stunts like invading Georgia and Crimea when his popularity was flagging and saw a visible boost each time. The invasion of the rest of Ukraine was just more of that, but driven by greed too. It backfired.
